Daily update, Wednesday 2020-04-01

It's 1st April and everywhere seems to be behaving itself! It's a Christmas miracle.

I still haven't come up with a schedule for writing/editing my "04 in 04" short stories, but I got through my first 1700-word draft of #1 this evening in about three hours, so I guess Wednesday might be Write Night and I'll figure out which day is Edit Night at some point. I'm pretty happy with what I came up with for #1 based on just a vague image that's been floating around in my head for a while. (I say this before having re-read it with fresh eyes!) I'll post it once it's edited :)

My parents ordered me an Easter egg online which arrived today; a nice surprise! I didn't hear the postie knocking so I had to pick it up from my next door neighbours, so they got to see me in *gestures* this outfit, which is a little different to what I was wearing when I last ran into them gardening on Sunday, but, well, achievement unlocked. The egg itself is cracked, which I think is pretty apt.
