Daily update, Sunday 2020-04-19

iguanaAfter a couple of nights of poor sleep, I slept for nearly twelve hours (with one waking at ~0500) which had left me equally drained today, buuuut I finished the draft of 04-in-04 #3 before dinner, thank goodness. I was hoping to have the energy to edit #2 this weekend, but that hasn't happened. And I need to start #4 ideally on Wednesday, aaaaa.
A couple of the broad beans I planted in the garden about a month ago have started to appear, so that's exciting. It's always a little disappointing to plant things but have nothing appear for weeks despite having to water it every day, but gratifying when it does work.
I officially ran out of fresh veg yesterday, having used up the last two onions in a bean and pulses chilli. Lots of frozen veg left though.
I'd been umming and ahhing about whether to keep the dress that arrived from FatFace a week or so ago, and yesterday I decided I actually rather loved it, even though I need to think about what footwear would go with it if I wore it out (I mean, trainers would be fine, maybe even hiking boots… and what would I wear it out to anyway?) and I forgot to test how it looked with my hat, but it is today's Instagram.
The (very limited) remote operation of the 200D is coming in useful even though I'm having to hide my phone in the composition. I wish there was just a more customisable self-timer, though, like several shots a few second apart until I touch the camera again.
