The snowdrops were out in January, and our garden turned out to be full of them! I also visited The Little Fleece, a National Trust holiday cottage in Gloucestershire, for the yearly "Landmark Trust" weekend.
Painswick
Matt, Pete, Tim, Emily and I stayed at The Little Fleece in Painswick, Gloucester. It was previously a book shop, and although there weren't any bookcases left the living areas were still decorated in what I presume was the original style.
We took a walk out to Painswick Rococo Gardens, which was also had a lot of snowdrops out at the time, along with a hedge maze we had fun in and turned out to spell '250' from above, the anniversary it was created on. Painswick itself was also a pretty town, and the Little Fleece was right in the middle of it.
The rest of the month was spent curling up in front of the fire at home, and planning our February adventures.
