Daily update, Saturday 2020-04-11

iguanaI feel pretty relaxed this evening; I've had a productive day while not feeling like I've overstretched myself.
This morning I got out into the front garden and started weeding the driveway. I've just about beaten the dandelions before they started seeding, which I'm pleased about. While I was out my neighbours returned from a walk but I didn't recognise and should have done more than a simple "hello" when they said hi while walking past – I had assumed they were just random friendly pensioners. I am bad at recognising people out of context! Aaaah!
Still, watching the ronks was nice and it was good to get out the house for a bit, even if it wasn't past the end of my driveway. I'll try to finish off the small area I didn't get to later this weekend.
I've also planted some "F1 Sunshine" squash seeds, which my parents gave me for Christmas-Birthday, inside today.
Played some Jackbox games with Pete, Matt, Tim, and Ems this afternoon, which is always enjoyable (though Quiplash and Drawful are still the best ones they have on offer).
I've been struggling to get out a first draft of my second 04-in-04 short stories, but I feel like I got a handle on the direction of the plot tonight, and made some good progress. I might have it done tomorrow, edited and published on Monday, then hopefully less trouble with #3 when I start it next week.
No Instagram post today; it started to feel like I was putting too many expectations on myself to do one every day, which wasn't the original plan. Besides, I was wearing the same outfit as yesterday!
