Daily update, Saturday 2020-05-02

iguanaFeeling relaxed and productive today, a rare combination! I was awake before my usual weekday alarm would've woken me up, so had time for a shower and relaxed breakfast (pancakes, and I started my new stockpile of 1 litre of maple syrup; I also got my 16kg of flour delivered on Monday so no more gram flour rations) before going out to weed the driveway before it got too sunny. That took about 45 minutes and segued into general weeding, and I think the front looks better than before? Bare soil bothers me but it was that or thistle weeds for the time being.
After that I planted out the seven chickpeas that sprouted (out of 18) in the back garden. I haven't really "hardened" them (got them used to the colder outdoors) so we'll see if they survive the night. Still just four of eighteen minipop sweetcorn have sprouted, one courgette of five, and (finally, today) one squash of four, though I planted three more squash seeds yesterday thinking they'd all been duds.
Got my first Bitlbee pull request in quite a while merged; another Twitter fix. I also coded a new "group reply" feature since currently replies to threads only @ the person you immediately replied to, rather than anyone else in the thread. Still testing that.
Made a chocolate cake, and got two loads of laundry done.
Drawful and Codenames this evening with Ems, Tim, and then again with Pete and Matt too. I was not on good form for either but still had fun.
