Daily update, Monday 2020-05-04

iguanaI finished watching through the latest series of Doctor Who this evening, having looked up the series ratings and seeing they'd improved from the terrible opening two-parter. It did get better, but then the finale went diving into Who mythos when what I really want is just some emotional stakes rather than another rehash of baddie-tries-to-destroy-the-universe.
Apart from that I have not done a lot for the second day running. I got a very terse reply from a Python FOSS maintainer when I asked about what appeared to be a regression, which further engrumpened me this evening, and while I know I should have done some exercise this evening, I have not.
On a positive note, the chickpea seedlings seem to have survived being planted out, and the broad beans are also doing well. Inside, still just four sweetcorn, one squash, and one courgette. Taking some time to actually relax in the evenings, watching Wild last night and Who this evening, is probably good for me, after a month of basically being busy with bitlbee patches, pynode/traingame coding, and 04-in-04 writing left my evenings pretty busy – though it'd probably be good for me to start picking up something in the evenings again.
