Oh no! I wear my full decorating clothes when doing these because yeah, acrylic does not wash out. I hope the ruined clothes weren't too precious to you.
I don't feel like mine are turning out well, but most youtubers I have watched doing this seem to have trouble articulating their methods, which makes me think it's something that needs experimentation until it become intuitive. I'm definitely not there yet!
And thanks, the loft hatch is usually not something I notice but when I do it makes me smile now :)
